From a really young age, I was always fascinated by paining nails, and nailcare, watching my older cousin pushing back her cuticles, and tidying up the free edge…but it wasn't a real career choice was it!

So…I got my degree in Biological Sciences and headed into the wide world…and didn't know at all what I was going to do with it. So I took a year (or 2!) off and spent time with my baby nephew, then when his social life became better than mine I thought it was about time to get back out there.

Again not having a clue which direction I wanted to go in, I went to my local college and enrolled on a holistic course, fascinating as I found the ethos behind it I wasn't really feeling it and one day while sat on reception doing my scheduled duty I was flicking through a trade mag and found a nail technician beginners course…that was an exciting moment for me, I remember thinking "why didn't I think of this before!!"

I was 'doing nails' for a couple of years on and off, but still fascinated by the artwork I had seen on the internet, I went in search of nail art products, but when I couldn't find what I was looking for I the UK, I thought that other tech's may be missing out on these products aswell….so I imported them and set up the Creative Ten website. After nearly 4 years, the product inventory is still growing as the industry changes, new products, new techniques…Creative Ten morphs with it.

I became hooked, I attended course after course, I have gained over 30 certificates from various companies in all systems but still wanted more than just pink and white gels and pink and white liquid and powder…then I found EzFlow…

I had of course seen EzFlow in the trade mags for a few years, but never really investigated the opportunities is offered, but at this point I was suddenly fascinated by the design nails in the advert, i thought "this is it, the next level I have been looking for" so I called my friend Jane Cook who was (and still is) the education manager for EzFlow (and other brands @ Grafton International) and she set me up with a kit.

I was so thrilled with the product I called up and bought more products to play with, and found there was no distributor for EzFlow in my area, well the rest as they say is history, I was so impressed with the products, the support I had received and the ethos behind the brand that I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

I am now the Sub-Distributor for the Midlands and Wales and achieved my Educator status in 2008. Life is busy, busier than I thought it would be, but I love inspiring people. Until I found EzFlow I felt as if I was in a box, conditioned to do pink and whites forever…but now I am as free as a butterfly, wondering at all of the beautiful colours and sparkle around me, thinking how I could turn that into a gorgeous nail!!
